We will be showing the movie, 42<\/i>, on Friday Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. Bring the family in for this \u201csports film non-sports fans can love; it\u2019s a family film that never preaches.\u201d\u00a0 Popcorn will be provided.\u00a0 Please note: This movie is rated PG-13 so if you are not 13 years of age, you MUST bring a parent or guardian with you or we will not allow you to view the movie.<\/p>\n
Join us for Video Game Night on Friday Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m.\u00a0 Bring your handheld gaming system (DS, 3DS, or any other) OR come and play on our WII gaming system.\u00a0 Play against other gaming enthusiasts.\u00a0 Please make sure any games you bring have your name on them.\u00a0 Feel free to bring a nutritious snack to share.<\/p>\n
Our free Tai Chi Chuan Class will resume again on Mondays starting Sept. 9 at 6:30pm.\u00a0 Come join instructor Bill Snyder.\u00a0 Open to all teens and adults.\u00a0 If you can\u2019t make it that day, he will be here again on Sept. 16.<\/p>\n
The Morrisville Public Library Board of Trustees is looking for interested candidates to be on a waiting list should an opening become available on the board.\u00a0 Interested people must be at least 18 years of age and qualified to vote in the M-ECS District. He\/she must be literate, a citizen of the United States and not be a convicted felon or have been adjudged incompetent.\u00a0 If you are interested or would like more information, please contact the Library Manager.<\/p>\n
The Library will be closed on Monday Sept. 2 to observe Labor Day.\u00a0 We will reopen on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Also, our summer hours end Labor Day weekend so on Saturday Sept. 7, we will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.again.<\/p>\n
Michelle Rounds is the library manager.
