(Morrisville, NY \u2013 Sept. 2013) If you are in Pre-K to 6th<\/sup> grade be sure to stop in and get your coloring contest entry.\u00a0 Also we are raffling off a Concrete Leaf Decoration for your garden, made by our very own landscaper, Karen Verne.\u00a0 For more details on both, stop into the library.<\/p>\n

Video game night is this Friday Oct. 4 at 6:30pm. Bring your handheld gaming system OR come and play on our WII gaming system.\u00a0 Play against other gaming enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

Our free Tai Chi Chuan Class will meet again on Monday Oct. 7 at 6:30pm.\u00a0 Come join instructor Bill Snyder.\u00a0 Open to all teens and adults.\u00a0 If you can\u2019t make it that day, he will be here again on Oct. 21.<\/p>\n

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, meets on Tuesday Oct. 8 at 9:30am.\u00a0 Bring the little ones and help us have fun hearing stories and more about Yummy, yummy cookies.\u00a0 If you can\u2019t make that day, join us on Tuesday Oct. 15 for Owls and Bats.<\/p>\n

Join Sue Greenhagen, Village and Town Historian, for her \u201cGraveyards of Madison County\u201d talk on Friday Oct. 11 at 6:30pm. This will take a look at many of Madison County\u2019s cemeteries.\u00a0 Included are interesting people, interesting headstones, and the \u201cdo\u2019s & don\u2019ts\u201d of cemetery care.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday Oct. 15 at 6:30pm, World War II Veteran, Al Paviglianti, will speak.\u00a0 Al served in the 3rd Marine Division headquarters.\u00a0 He spent the majority of his service time in the Pacific theatre including Guadalcanal, Guam, Iwo Jima and Bougainville.\u00a0 Al is currently the Adjutant for the Madison County American Legion.\u00a0 We are excited to host this amazing man.<\/p>\n

From Tuesday Oct. 15 through Saturday Oct. 19 the Archives of World War II will be on display.\u00a0 This is sponsored by the Madison County Historical Society, our Veterans Office and the County Clerk\u2019s Office.\u00a0 It will be mostly photos, some letters and other things from folks during World War II.<\/p>\n

Join us for our book talk on Gabriel Garcia Marquez\u2019s book, Love in the Time of the Cholera<\/i> on Wednesday Oct. 16 at 6:30pm.\u00a0 Copies are available now.<\/p>\n

Bring the family in for popcorn and a movie on Friday Oct. 18 at 6:00pm.\u00a0 We will be showing the movie, The Croods<\/i>.\u00a0 This will prove solidly entertaining for families seeking a fast-paced, funny cartoon adventure.<\/p>\n

We will be closed on Monday Oct. 14 for Columbus Day.\u00a0 We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.<\/p>\n
