His work as an Environmental Economist and Author includes distinguished credentials in sustainable development, urban sprawl and inclusive growth.\u00a0His most recent book, Responsible Development: Pollution and Poverty &#8211; how markets can cure the problems that they have created is devoted to seeking market solutions to the problems of poverty and pollution.\u00a0He has spoken internationally on the marketization of social enterprises and promotes the dictum that \u201cwe can do well by doing good\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens for Safe Energy is composed of Madison County residents who support best practices and public policies for natural resources development in order to ensure protection of property values, water and air quality, and the vitality of the local economy including business, tourism and agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture is free and open to the public.
