The largest check, for $13,864.54 for an old bank account, was given to the Fryer Memorial Library in Munnsville.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is more than $40 million in unclaimed funds waiting to be claimed by Onondaga County residents, businesses and municipalities alone,\u201d DiNapoli said. \u201cThis money belongs to the rightful owners and we want to give it back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s important that everyone take the time to search the website to see if there is any lost or forgotten money in their name.
