<\/a>program that sends a free book a month to children ages 0-4.\u00a0 All children in that age range in Madison County are eligible to register through their local public library.\u00a0 There are no income requirements.<\/p>\nFor more information on DPIL, visit imaginationlibrary.com<\/p>\n
The DPIL program is coordinated by the Literacy Coalition of Madison County and is managed at the local level by the public libraries in the county.\u00a0 The Dolly Foundation provides the books and the local agencies cover the cost of shipping, which is approximately $25 per year per child.\u00a0 In the Town of Sullivan, the cost is being underwritten by Chittenango Rotary, the Chittenango Central School District and a grant from the Dorothy C. Lichtenberg Memorial Fund.<\/p>\n
