She is 19 years old and was hospitalized for 39 straight days and is now undergoing chemotherapy as an outpatient. In one month&#8217;s time she had had 40 transfusions and still requires more.<\/p>\n<p>The benefit will be held Jan. 11 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Forestport Fire Hall, 11965 River Road, Foresport. \u00a0The price of admission is $15 single\/$25 couple\/$30 family.<\/p>\n<p>Anna was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia on Oc. 16. She had more than 40 blood transfusions in one month time and spent 39 straight days in the hospital from the day she was diagnosed.<\/p>\n<p>Anna has a very long road ahead of her, with chemotherapy. The doctor\u2019s have said at least two years of chemo.<\/p>\n<p>Shawn &#8220;Big Sexy&#8221; Smith, who appeared on the television show \u201cThe Voice\u201d will be playing at the benefit.<\/p>\n<p>The menu includes:<\/p>\n<p>Pulled Pork and Ham<br \/>\nPotato Salad<br \/>\nMacaroni Salad<br \/>\nZiti<br \/>\nRolls<br \/>\nBaked Beans<br \/>\nCoffee<br \/>\nLemonade<br \/>\nWater<\/p>\n<p>They are accepting donations and are also in need of utensils, napkins, plates, hot and cold cups. To make a donation, call Cindy at 315-942-9012\u00a0or\u00a0Kim\u00a0at\u00a0315-404-0450.<\/p>\n<p>There will all so be a Chinese Auction, Silent auction and DJ.<\/p>\n<p>Any donations are welcomed. They can be\u00a0dropped\u00a0off at the Boonville Fitness Center, 199 Post St., Boonville.<\/p>\n<p>Time Warp DJ\/Karaoke has offered to donate their services for the benefit.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Support Anna shirts\u201d are available for $15 at the Boonville Fitness Center.<\/p>\n<p>There will be two more meetings before the benefit.
