Mike Soper, office manager of H&R Block in Oneida and Canastota, explains the income tax implications of the Affordable Health Care Act, including subsidies and credits for health care insurance premiums. He will follow up the free program with an open question and answer period.<\/p>\n

String Bee Band Performs<\/p>\n

The String Bee band debuts at Oneida Public Library its recently released album, a collection of 13 songs, all but one originally composed by band members. String Bee features Dave Liddy on keyboard, Steve Quenneville on guitar and John O\u2019Hara on the hammered dulcimer. The concert is free.<\/p>\n

Stephanie L. Neff of Tri-Valley YMCA leads a training workshop on recognizing the signs of child abuse and preventing its occurance. Workshop fee is $5 per person to cover the cost of materials.<\/p>\n
