Kozecke is a Liberal Arts &amp; Sciences: Science major at Herkimer College. He bowled an impressive 675 series in his first competitive match as a General. Highlighting that series was a 298 high score; the second best in the Mountain Valley Conference to date.<\/p>\n<p>Coach P.J. Anadio commented on Kozecke\u2019s early success by saying, \u201cAdam has been a great addition to our Men&#8217;s Bowling Team here at Herkimer College. Right out of the gate, he put up two 200 games followed by a near 300 game, just missing on his last shot to record a 298.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/ShahadahWilliamsCROP.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-53661\" alt=\"ShahadahWilliamsCROP\" src=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/ShahadahWilliamsCROP.jpg\" width=\"226\" height=\"284\" srcset=\"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/ShahadahWilliamsCROP.jpg 226w, https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/ShahadahWilliamsCROP-119x150.jpg 119w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 226px) 100vw, 226px\" \/><\/a>The Female Athlete of the Month is Shahadah Williams of Syracuse, a Liberal Arts &amp; Sciences: Science major at Herkimer College. A member of the Women\u2019s Basketball Team, she is known for her high-energy play on the court, specifically on the glass, where she has accumulated 12 games of 10 plus rebounds. Against both Broome and Schenectady, Williams tallied 15 rebounds, her season high, but also added 18 points against the Hornets, which was the most she scored in a game to date. In total, Williams has five double doubles, and she\u2019s averaged 11.8 points, 11 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game.<\/p>\n<p>Coach B.J. Gouger said \u201cShahadah has played well during the second semester, bringing consistent energy to both our defense and press.
