We would again like to thank our friends from the following organizations for arranging this wonderful opportunity: Heritage Farm; The ARC, Oneida-Lewis Chapter; Madison-Cortland ARC; Central New York DSO; ARISE; Herkimer Area Resource Center; Resource Center for Independent Living; the Hamilton Public Library Friends of the Library group.\u00a0 The Exceptional Art exhibit will continue to be on display throughout February and the beginning of March.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that safe disposal of medications helps to prevent prescription drug abuse and environmental harm caused through improper disposal?\u00a0 The Hamilton Public Library is partnering with the Hamilton Area Community Coalition and the Hamilton Police Department to host a free medication disposal event on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 11am-1pm, in the back hallway by the library\u2019s community room.\u00a0 This is an excellent time to properly dispose of your unwanted and expired medications.\u00a0 In addition to prescription medications, patches and ointments, vitamins, over-the-counter medications, and veterinary medications will also be accepted during this time.\u00a0 For more information, please contact BRIDGES at (315) 697-3947.<\/p>\n<p>Additional information about library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services, is available through the library website <b><a href=\"http:\/\/midyorklib.org\/hamilton\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/midyorklib.org\/hamilton\/<\/a><\/b>.\u00a0 From the website, you can also sign up for our listserv and Wowbrary notices to receive emails about general library news and newly added materials in our collections!\u00a0 Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information about programs, special events, and other general library-related information:\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HPL.books\" target=\"_blank\"><b>http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HPL.books<\/b><\/a> .<\/p>\n<p><b><i>The library is normally open Monday-Friday, 10am to 7pm, and Saturday, 10am to1pm.
