<\/a>By Hilary Virgil, Library Director<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n(Hamilton, NY \u2013 April 2, 2014) Stuck in a rut or looking for a recommendation on a good book to read?\u00a0 Explore the Reader Recommendations section of our webpage, listed under \u201cLibrary Resources\u201d tab on the top menu.\u00a0 Here you\u2019ll find book recommendations from patrons throughout the Mid York Library System and can browse most recent recommendations as well as most popular recommendations.\u00a0 Of course, not everyone has the same reading preferences, but it is sometimes nice to know what others are reading and enjoying.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t forget about our Wowbrary<\/i> service that provides email alerts updating you on the newest materials as they are added to our collection!\u00a0 To sign up, all you need to do is go to our website and click the “Get New Book Alerts!” tab on the top navigation menu, and provide your e-mail address.\u00a0 You\u2019ll get the latest updates on our newest arrivals and if you see something you are interested in, can click on that item to directly access it on our online catalog.\u00a0 From there you can easily request an item or place a hold on it.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0If email updates are not the best option for you, Wowbrary<\/i> also features our newest items on the right-hand side of our webpage as well as weekly updates on our Facebook page.<\/p>\n
This is a fantastic service that helps connect our patrons directly to our most recent additions to our collections and keep everyone informed about what\u2019s new at the library!\u00a0 Anyone can help to support the continuation of this service at no additional cost by using the \u201cBuy Now\u201d button on our webpage to begin their regular Amazon shopping.\u00a0 Amazon generously provides a percentage of the purchase back to our library for this Wowbrary <\/i>service. <\/b><\/p>\n
