{"id":55935,"date":"2014-05-28T18:49:38","date_gmt":"2014-05-28T22:49:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=55935"},"modified":"2014-05-28T16:51:50","modified_gmt":"2014-05-28T20:51:50","slug":"job-corps-orientation-for-16-24-year-olds-in-madison-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?p=55935","title":{"rendered":"Job Corps Orientation for 16-24 Year Olds in Madison County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Oneida, NY \u2013 May 2014) Job Corps, administered by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, offers free career technical training for 16 \u2013 24 year olds in the following areas: auto mechanics, auto body repair, medical and business office, C.N.A., L.P.N, construction, culinary arts, security guard and more.<\/p>\n<p>The program includes up to two years education and training, campus housing, meals and other services. \u00a0\u00a0There is no cost to eligible students.\u00a0 Both high school graduates and non-graduates may apply.\u00a0 If needed, a student can also get a NY State High School Equivalency (TASC) or high school diploma &#8211; at the same time they train for a career at Job Corps.<\/p>\n<p>Orientation and Application Interviews will be held on Friday June 6 at 10 a.m. at Working Solutions,\u00a01006 Oneida Plaza Drive, Oneida.
