Laird Petrie from the Office\u00a0of the New York State Comptroller will discuss fraud prevention controls.\u00a0The meeting starts promptly at\u00a06 p.m. The guest speaker will begin after dinner has been served.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last couple of meeting we held, we went with the two guest speaker format for each,\u201d said\u00a0Fritz Scherz, OCAOT President. \u201cHowever, given the topic Mr. Petrie will be speaking on, we wanted to allow him more time to elaborate on it. I am hopeful of seeing many of my colleagues from local government inOneida\u00a0County\u00a0at the July 15th\u00a0meeting and encourage those interested to sign up right away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The OCAOT has a goal of helping towns obtain greater economy and efficiency, and to provide learning and networking opportunities for town officials. Officials from local government in Oneida\u00a0County\u00a0are welcome to attend all OCAOT meetings.<\/p>\n<p>The cost per attendee is $15.
