The Musings of a Simple Country Man<\/p>\n

(Brookfield, NY – July 2014) On the afternoon of July 3 a tremendously powerful and destructive tornado-like storm with over 100 mph winds and in some places huge grapefruit size hail stones devastated parts of the rural Central New York State Township of Brookfield.\u00a0\u00a0 It was a catastrophic storm of historic dimensions that made areas of the landscape look like a battle zone.<\/p>\n

Despite herculean efforts by many local volunteers wielding well used chain saws, power crews from this area and other states\u2019 tree service companies, etc., this community was left in the dark for many days.<\/p>\n

When \u201cwired\u201d Americans find their lives and routines shattered and their daily routine unexpectedly disrupted, most find themselves captains without a ship.\u00a0 Without their daily power fix they are simply unhinged and incapable of continuing their powerless lives.<\/p>\n

As simple country people, my lovely and beautiful wife Lois and I have lived simply and without power for over 35 years.<\/p>\n

As Christians we are daily wired with the most powerful power of all\u2014Spiritual power.\u00a0 It NEVER FAILS\u2014despite life\u2019s most violent and destructive winds.\u00a0 Try it.<\/p>\n
