The session is called\u00a0Prepare, Respond, Recover: What To Do When Disaster Strikes, and here are the details:<\/p>\n<p>Who:\u00a0The training session is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>What:\u00a0A trained representative from the American Red Cross will conduct a session of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo\u2019s Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program. The program lasts about one hour and provides a comprehensive overview on how to prepare for natural and man-made disasters, and how to respond to and recover from them.<\/p>\n<p>When\/Where:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27,\u00a0Marcellus Free Library, 32 Maple St., Marcellus<\/li>\n<li>2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, Marathon Gardening Club, 24 Main St., Marathon<\/li>\n<li>6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, Madison Central School, 7303 Route 20, Madison<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why:\u00a0The American Red Cross has a mission of ensuring our communities are prepared for disasters. Gov. Cuomo\u2019s Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program provides residents with the knowledge and tools to prepare for emergencies and disasters, respond accordingly, and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions.
