Vosburg is among the 50 troopers who graduated Nov. 21 from the Virginia State Police Academy in Richmond, Va. The graduates\u2019 final phase of training requires each new trooper to spend a minimum of six weeks with a field training officer (FTO) learning his or her new patrol area and day-to-day duties. Vosburg begins this final phase on patrol in Northern Virginia\u2019s Prince William County.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>To achieve their diplomas, members of the 122nd Basic Session had to complete a rigorous 26-week training session. The new troopers received instruction in more than 100 different subjects spanning hundreds of hours.
