<\/a>By Karen Fauls-Traynor, librarian<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n(Chittenango, NY \u2013 Jan. 2015) Have you ever finished reading a good book and wished you had someone with whom you could talk about it? \u00a0The Sullivan Free Library has three active book discussion groups between the two libraries. \u00a0All are in the process of developing reading schedules for the upcoming year and would welcome new members. \u00a0Discussions are friendly and informal. \u00a0Refreshments are served at each meeting.<\/p>\n
The Chittenango Book Discussion Group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the McGowan Room of the library in Chittenango. \u00a0They read a variety of contemporary fiction and non-fiction.<\/p>\n
The Attic Salt Book Group meets on the fourth Tues of each month at 7 p.m. in the library in Bridgeport and also reads a variety of contemporary books of all genres.<\/p>\n
There is also a Classic Book Discussion group that meets once a month on Thursdays in Chittenango (the date is decided each month by members.) \u00a0This group discusses classic titles and in the coming year, will be focusing on classic titles from genres–mystery, romance, horror, science fiction, etc.<\/p>\n
