Winners need not be present to win.<\/p>\n<p>The raffle, held annually in Rowland\u2019s name, keeps his memory alive in the hearts and minds of the YMCA family.\u00a0 Rowland, born in Rome, was active in many civic organizations prior to his death in August 2009 including the YMCA.\u00a0 He led a merger with the Women\u2019s Community Center and the YMCA forming the Rome Family Y.<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 Dudley \u201cGig\u201d Rowland Raffle will have three prizes.\u00a0 First place is a $2,500 Vacation Voucher sponsored by Bruce Stewart, DDS.\u00a0 Second place is a Weekend for Two in Lake Placid, NY sponsored by Strategic Financial Services.\u00a0 Third place is a Wine Tour Four Ten with Limo Service sponsored by Oneida Savings.\u00a0 All net proceeds from the raffle will raise much needed monies for the Y\u2019s Annual Heroes Campaign which enables the Y to directly help those in need and change the lives of local children and their families.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets can be purchased in person at the Rome Family Y located at 301 W.
