From Judith Viorst\u2019s acclaimed children\u2019s book, this film\u00a0will have the entire family laughing out loud. The tale follows the exploits of Alexander as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life and wonders if bad things only happen to him. But then he discovers he’s not alone when his dad, mom, and family live through their own terrible\u2014and hilarious\u2014day.\u00a0(Amazon.com)<\/p>\n

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day\u00a0is rated PG and runs for 81minutes.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0As always, admission and popcorn are free.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Open Afternoon Book Club continues<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u201cOpen Afternoon Book Club\u201d for adults at the Cazenovia Public Library meets in the Story Garden every third\u00a0Wednesday at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

The Feb. 18\u00a0selection,\u00a0The Movement of Stars, described as \u201cvividly told and meticulously researched,\u201d is\u00a0Amy Brill\u2019s debut novel.<\/p>\n

In this novel, readers are taken to the Nantucket of the 1800\u2019s.\u00a0 Here Hannah Price struggles to obey her Quaker community while becoming an astronomer\u2014her dream. Then exotic Isaac Martin asks to study with her, and she finds she has a lot to learn about love. Inspired by real-life astronomer Maria Mitchell, Brill’s Hannah lights the way, like a comet, for women whose minds and hearts lead them beyond boundaries.\u00a0(People)<\/p>\n
