The trio will be supported by guest performers Kelly Ciotti on vocals and Margaret Carroll on keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>At venues throughout Central New York, Springhouse has performed a variety of traditional and contemporary folk music, described by trio member Bill Fahy as \u201can eclectic mix of country, blues, bluegrass, Celtic and folk.\u201d At the Great Irish Festival last summer in Herkimer, the group played up a storm of Celtic reels, jigs and dance music.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Carroll is a regular performer with the Utica-based group Craobh Dugan,\u00a0which is the \u201cDugan Branch\u201d of the international Celtic music society Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, and with the local Irish group Rattling Bog Band. He also performs\u00a0\u00a0American folk and classic rock music.<\/p>\n<p>Bill Fahy\u00a0has been playing, performing and teaching traditional music in Central New York for over 15 years. He has been a founding member of the Flophouse String Band, the Tired Hands String Band and the Sail Cats. Currently, he performs with Craobh Dugan and the Rattling Bog Band.<\/p>\n<p>Tavia Pellani, who is classically trained in the cello and plays a number of instruments, took up the fiddle and Irish harp out of love of Celtic and traditional folk music.
