\"Caz<\/a>(Cazenovia, NY \u2013 March 2015) Jenna Wright is calling children of all ages and their families to the Cazenovia Public Library as it gears up for another fun and exciting break week. There are a variety of activities for all ages,\u00a0giving children a chance to dive into interesting new topics and activities.<\/p>\n

\u201cCelebrate Reading\u201d Monday, April 6\u00a0at 2 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children, young and old, will delight in a concert filled with songs from some of the most popular children\u2019s books of all time. Join Jim McCarthy in the Library Community Room for a sing-along, clap-along family concert that celebrates all the joys of reading. It will be a fun musical experience for the whole family.<\/p>\n

\u201cMuseum Academy\u201d\u00a0Tuesday, April 7\u00a0from\u00a01:30 to 3 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In partnership with Lorenzo State Historic Site, children ages 8 to 12 will have the opportunity to learn about\u00a0shipbuilding and Lorenzo\u2019s connection to famous ships.<\/p>\n

Registration for this second installment of \u201cMuseum Academy\u201d is required and includes a $2 registration fee per child.<\/p>\n

Call Diane Voss at 655-3200 by April 3rd\u00a0to register, or send the registration fee to Lorenzo State Historic Site; 17 Rippleton Road, Cazenovia, NY 13035.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cCandy Land\u201d\u00a0Wednesday, April 8\u00a0from\u00a01:30 to 3 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Library Community Room will be transformed into a sugary-sweet life-sized Candy Land game board.\u00a0 Children of all ages and their families should come on in and take part in this sweet game.<\/p>\n

\u201cArt Explorers\u201d\u00a0Thursday, April 9\u00a0from\u00a01:30 to 3 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children ages 8 to 12 are invited to the Library Community Room for the art of quilting.\u00a0 Students will tour the historic quilt exhibit in the Library Art Gallery and create their own personal quilt square to add to a mural for the Library\u2019s children\u2019s space.<\/p>\n

To ensure enough materials, this program requires registration. Call the Library at 655-9322 to reserve a spot.<\/p>\n

Cinderella\u00a0(1950)\u00a0Friday, April 10\u00a0at 1:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Come and share in the magic of the timeless fairy tale\u00a0Cinderella\u00a0(1950). This Disney Animated Classic will be shown in the Library Community Room and is sure to delight family members of all ages.\u00a0 It\u2019s rated G and runs for 75 minutes.\u00a0 Free popcorn.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cAround the World with Cinderella\u201d\u00a0Saturday, April 11\u00a0from\u00a011 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Young princes and princesses of all ages and their families are cordially invited to go \u201cAround the World with Cinderella\u201d at a fairy tale celebration.\u00a0 Feel free to dress as your favorite prince or princess and come to the Library Community Room for a scavenger hunt and other activities, games, prizes, and refreshments.\u00a0 You will meet Cinderella and her Prince, and you just might see mice turn into ponies.\u00a0 Co-sponsored by the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society of Cazenovia College.<\/p>\n

As always, all programs at the Library are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
