Potted hop plants are ready to put in the ground now, and will produce the first crop next year.<\/p>\n<p>Plants will also be available at the Hop Shop on Saturday Sept. 19 during the 20<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Madison County Hop Fest.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Varieties available include Cascade and \u201cHedgerow Hops\u201d from the wild stock of the old hop yards near Bouckville NY where commercial hop growing was introduced to Central New York in 1808.
