The potent mix of guitar, flute, uilleann pipes, bodhr\u00e1n (Celtic drum) and accordion carries that haunting, indelibly Irish sound straight into the ears and hearts of audience members wherever the band travels.<\/p>\n<p>And though they don\u2019t have decades of touring under their belts, don\u2019t let the band\u2019s youthfulness fool you. Director of Irish Studies, Traolach O\u2019Riordain sums it up succinctly: \u201cThere are two kinds of musicians in Ireland\u2026You have those who learn the traditional music in school, and those who learn it from their parents and grandparents, just as they learned it from their parents and grandparents before them, all the way back to the time God was a small boy.
