Rounds, Library Manager<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Morrisville, NY \u2013 Sept. 2015) This Friday, Sept. 25 join us for our Family Movie Night at 7 p.m.\u00a0 We will be showing the new version of Cinderella.\u00a0 We provide the popcorn; just bring your own beverage.\u00a0 The library closes at 8 p.m., so if you have library business to attend to, please come early.<\/p>\n<p>Tai Chi Chuan Classes are back at the library starting Monday Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m.\u00a0 The group is facilitated by Morrisville State College Professor, William Snyder.\u00a0 They meet every Monday at 6:30 p.m. until June.\u00a0 New people are welcome at any time.\u00a0 Best part, it\u2019s free.\u00a0 If you can\u2019t make this day, join them on Oct. 5.<\/p>\n<p>Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour begins soon.\u00a0 Bring your preschool child to the library starting Tuesday Oct. 6 at 10 a.m.\u00a0 Every week we will have new topics to read about.\u00a0 Stories, finger plays, rhymes, crafts and more.\u00a0 A great hour of fun.\u00a0 On Oct. 6 we will be reading about \u201cfall leaves fall.\u201d\u00a0 If you cannot make that day, join us the following week on Tuesday Oct. 13 for \u201cgoing on a bear hunt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Join Robin Suarez as she helps us to better our lives naturally through Essential Oils on Thursday Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m.\u00a0 Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in flowers, seeds, bark, roots and other parts of plants. They are powerfully fragrant. They have been used throughout history for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday Oct. 9 join us for a historic talk about Pvt. Lyons Wakeman at 6:30 p.m.\u00a0 Join Civil War re-enactor, Melanie Martin, as she shares with us about this great \u201cman.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday Oct. 10 the library will be hosting a portion of MHPC\u2019s Landmark\u2019s Day.\u00a0 Join the MHPC at the Engine House up the street at 10 a.m. for the Marion Howlett Taylor Award.\u00a0 After the presentation, walk down to the library for a Virtual Tour of our Local Landmarks presented by our Village Historian, Sue Greenhagen.\u00a0 Then if you feel like taking a self-guided walking tour of the local Landmarks, grab a map and head on your way.\u00a0 Grab some refreshments on your way out.<\/p>\n<p>Our first book talk will be here soon on Friday Oct. 16 at 12:15 p.m. The book we will be discussing is James Scott\u2019s The Kept.\u00a0 Copies can be picked up now.<\/p>\n<p>We will be closed on Monday Oct. 12 to observe Columbus Day.\u00a0 We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Morrisville Public Library News By Michelle A.
