What: Bake Sale<\/p>\n

Date: October 10, 2015<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Time: 12:00-5:00pm<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Where: The Tramontane Cafe, 1105 Lincoln Ave., Utica, NY<\/p>\n

Cost: Free to enter, baked goods vary<\/p>\n

Our baked goods will go great with the Tram\u2019s selection of hot and cold beverages. This is also an excellent opportunity to meet your local roller derby players, ask questions about roller derby, and even get information on how to join as a skater, official, or volunteer. These homemade derby goodies are to die for!<\/p>\n

Central New York Roller Derby, Inc. (CNYRD) is a women’s sports league founded in 2007 and based in the greater Utica\/Rome, NY area. As a member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), a worldwide governing body for women’s flat track roller derby, CNYRD members have represented the CNY region in sporting events across the northeast United States and Canada. CNYRD has approximately 45 members; skaters make up two travel teams, the CNY All Stars and the Wonder Brawlers, and there are many officials and volunteers associated with our league. The league seeks to foster the empowerment of females of all races, national origins, sexual orientations, ages, religious beliefs, and body types. The league also operates as a not-for-profit organization and strives to support the surrounding community.
