He knows firsthand the difference between a good attorney and a good judge.\u00a0\u00a0He is both.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Patrick\u2019s life experiences also make him better qualified than any of the other candidates.\u00a0\u00a0He has practiced law in Federal, State, and local courts.\u00a0\u00a0He has represented defendants and plaintiffs.\u00a0\u00a0His cases range from family matters to criminal matters.\u00a0\u00a0He has lived in big cities, Madison County, and in other States.\u00a0\u00a0He is also a teacher \u2013 originally science; now law.\u00a0\u00a0He has the relaxed, thoughtful demeanor of a good judge.<\/p>\n<p>Madison County Judges preside over three courts; hearing\u00a0family matters, estate\/inheritance and criminal cases.\u00a0\u00a0Our judges must be able to handle all three!\u00a0\u00a0A good judge has the qualities that enable them to do any of the three equally well.
