Last year, the Council\u2019s Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts collected over 30,000 items of food to benefit local families in need.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Nov. 7 local Scouts will be leaving door hangers, with information and donation tips, on the doors of homes throughout the Council. Residents are asked to place items of non-perishable food in bags and place them outside their front door (or an easily accessible and visible area) on the following Saturday, Nov. 14.
