\"2-26<\/a>Ever wanted to get inside the head of a favorite animal? Interested in learning about what makes them tick? Make no\u00a0bones about it, Rogers Center in Sherburne has the perfect opportunity to discover more about the anatomy of\u00a0mammals that live right in your backyard.<\/p>\n

Join Friends of Rogers on March 5 for the Family Fun program \u201cSkull Science.\u201d By viewing the skulls of animals,\u00a0participants will learn to identify unique characteristics that might otherwise go unnoticed. Once visitors discover these\u00a0characteristics, they will better understand certain behaviors, as well as how to interact with these animals.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can take a lot away from examining the skulls of different vertebrates up close and personal,\u201d said Environmental\u00a0Educator Sarah Freedman. \u201cIt\u2019s fun trying to figure out what animal each skull belongs to as it can be rather challenging\u00a0to identify the correct critter sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Family Fun programs are held at 10:30 a.m. on the first and third Saturday of every month in the Visitor\u2019s Center on\u00a0state Route 80 and last approximately one hour. While there is no charge, Friends of Rogers encourages contributions to \u00a0support future programs. Recent events have included Bird BINGO, Family Snowshoe and For the Birds.Family Fun\u00a0programs are an opportunity for visitors of all ages to experience<\/p>\n
