Those who are\u00a0interested may continue on to the more in-depth, yearlong apprenticeship\u00a0if desired.<\/p>\n<p>I am looking for a few good apprentices for this coming year. Learning about herbalism is a great endeavor; it is not just knowing what plants are good for various health issues, but also about becoming more familiar with the natural cycle of the year, about what\u00a0your environment offers you and about understanding our role as stewards of our surroundings.<\/p>\n<p>Join me in exploring our local herbs\/weeds\/flowers, in seeing your garden as medicine chest, in cultivating areas for the benefit of beneficial wildlife and insects and in how to have\u00a0fun with plants.<\/p>\n<p>I am offering a 20-percent discount to any Lebanon\u00a0resident who signs up for this class. We are blessed to have a really rich variety of plant life here &#8211; weeds that have provided foods and medicines to generations of our townsfolk.
