Galimo, II, today announced his candidacy for the Utica City School District\u2019s Board of Education.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Galimo, 30, is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Oneonta in 2009; he works as the director of business development at L.B. Security &amp; Investigations in Utica and is a licensed New York State Private Investigator.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As a young professional who was born and raised in this community, Galimo said he will offer new ideas and a fresh perspective to improve the quality of education for students and efficiency for taxpayers.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;My father was a proud employee of the Utica City School District for nearly 20 years,&#8221; Galimo\u00a0said. &#8220;The district was very good to him; he always spoke highly of the talent and dedication of the people he had the pleasure of working with.
