The Mid-York Musketeers are off to a great start in the 2016 parade season. The drum line and
color guard successfully competed in the 34th Annual Syracuse St. Patrick\u2019s Day Parade on
Saturday, March 12, 2016.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Mid-York Musketeers are off to a great start in the 2016 parade season. The drum line and\u00a0color guard successfully competed in the 34th Annual Syracuse St. Patrick\u2019s Day Parade on\u00a0Saturday, March 12, 2016. The group placed second for the Stan Colella Best High School Band Award, and they were judged against much larger school organizations including\u00a0Baldwinsville High School and Henninger High School.<\/p>\n

The Mid-York Musketeers, a not-for-profit corporation created to provide musical opportunities\u00a0to the youth in our community, is using a recent grant award to order new drum line equipment,\u00a0and they are currently conducting a fundraiser to purchase new uniforms.<\/p>\n

With support from the Morrisville-Eaton school district and under the direction of Bill Jenkins,\u00a0the organization is looking for new students to join its growing group. Students from\u00a0Hamilton, Madison, Morrisville-Eaton, and Stockbridge Valley as well as other interested participants from the Mid-York area are encouraged to contact Jenkins, who coordinates\u00a0instruction for the drum line and color guard.<\/p>\n
