The grant program is designed for not-for-profit and community organizations\u00a0located in\u00a0or serving the Madison County community. Grant dollars will be awarded\u00a0based on the needs of the organization<!--more--> applying, the programs\u2019 projected impact on\u00a0the community, and the number of requests received. In order to assist as many\u00a0groups as possible, grants will be capped at a maximum donation of $1,000 to any one\u00a0organization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a not-for-profit financial cooperative ourselves, we recognize the challenges that\u00a0many not-for-profit groups have in these difficult economic times, as well as the vital\u00a0role that these organizations play in our community,\u201d said CORE CEO Bill Sweeney.\u00a0\u201cWe always look for ways to give back to the many high-quality organizations in the\u00a0communities that we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grant applications are at available online at www.core-fcu.com, or at CORE\u2019s\u00a0Morrisville office, located in the Big M Plaza. Applications should be returned to the\u00a0credit union no later than May 13, 2016. Award recipients will be notified on or around\u00a0May 30.
