The defendant falsely completed federal firearms form ATF-4473 in order to hide the fact <!--more-->that he was prohibited from purchasing a firearm. The defendant was denied during a NICS check and did not take possession of the weapon.<\/p>\n<p>Crouse was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Herkimer court at a later date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>State Police in Herkimer arrested Alan S.
