De Temps\u00a0Antan\u2014which roughly translates as From Bygone Times\u2014is a band made for wild applause.<\/p>\n<p>Their music digs deep into its French, Irish, and Scottish roots with a sound that\u2019s fresh,\u00a0contemporary and full of life.\u00a0Dupuis concentrates on accordion and harmonica, Brunet on fiddle, and Beaudry on guitar and\u00a0feet, <!--more-->using his boots as percussion instruments, banging and tapping them on the floor. The\u00a0band has won raves, including this review from Vancouver\u2019s Rogue Folk Club: \u201cFabulous! Such\u00a0power and drive, yet every nuance of every note is highlighted\u2014even when they are playing\u00a0those crooked reels at hyper-speed! De Temps Antan are definitely the most powerful and\u00a0exciting qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois band we&#8217;ve heard in a long time.
