Winchell, 37, Route 26, Vernon, was charged May 18 with second-degree assault, a class D felony, and second-degree criminal trespass. Winchell is alleged to\u00a0have refused to leave another person\u2019s property when told to and to have assaulted\u00a0another person by throwing the person to the ground where the victim\u2019s head struck a\u00a0concrete curb, to have struck the victim in the head with a closed fist and<!--more-->to have gouged\u00a0at the victim\u2019s eyes causing injuries including a concussion, broken orbital bone,\u00a0temporary vision loss and impaired vision. He was arraigned and committed to\u00a0Madison County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bail bond.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie L. McCoppin, 44, Fitch St., Oneida, was charged May 17 with second-degree harassment.<\/p>\n<p>Allen N. Greathouse, 22, Main St., Camden, was charged May 17 with petit larceny. He is\u00a0alleged to have stolen cash while working at Wal-Mart.<\/p>\n<p>Darrell F. Stevens, 52, no address available, was issued a criminal summons May 18 on\u00a0a charge of trespass. He is alleged to have entered a store from which he was previously banned.<\/p>\n<p>Gary R. Olmstead, 55, Fitch St., Oneida,\u00a0was issued an appearance ticket May 18 on a\u00a0charge of city ordinance violation- unlicensed junk yard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>William D.
