Summer Reading begins on Tuesday July 5! The theme this year is, \u201cOn Your Mark, Get Set-READ\u201d!\u00a0Stop in and sign up starting then! Remember we have a children\u2019s program (ages 1-17) and an adult\u00a0one too! EXCITING NEWS: IF THE CHILDREN READ 1100 HOURS COLLECTIVELY through the course of\u00a0the program, THEY CAN TURN THE LIBRARY MANAGER INTO A HUMAN PIZZA at graduation!!!!!<\/p>\n

That\u2019s not the only cool thing going on this summer! Stop in and find out more!\u00a0New this summer we will be having a 6-week long special Summer Reading Kiddies Korner (our\u00a0preschool story hour) that meets every Tuesday from July 5 through August 9! Be sure to bring your\u00a0kiddos in at 10am for stories, finger plays, crafts and more! July 5 we will be hearing stories about 1,\u00a02, 3 Numbers! July 12 we will be reading about \u201cMove It\u201d!<\/p>\n

On Wednesday July 6 join us for our SRP Mural at 6:30pm. Help us create the Summer Reading mural\u00a0for the summer! Supplies will be provided; just need all young and old talent to come and create!<\/p>\n

Friday July 8 we will have Robert Rivest, Comic Mime here at 6:30pm. He entertains audiences of all\u00a0ages with his \u201cOn Your Mark, Get Set, Read, Move, Laugh &amp; Play\u201d program! He will joyfully motivate\u00a0them to get up, get moving and keep reading. Using mime, comedy, and interactive playfulness,\u00a0Robert shares fun ways to move and laugh!<\/p>\n

Join us on Saturday July 9 for our Annual Book Sale from 8:00am-2:00pm. Lots of great deals! Get\u00a0some great reads for the summer ahead! The Book Sale will be held in the Library\u2019s program room.<\/p>\n

The Library will be closed to the public (due to summer hours).<\/p>\n

On Monday July 11 be sure to check out our CLEARANCE BOOK SALE from 12:00pm-6:30pm. Bag\u00a0Sale! Whatever you can get in a bag for a $1!!! AND SPECIAL for Nonprofits and teachers only\u2013Everything is free if you bring ID from where you work or talk to the Library Manager.<\/p>\n

Monday July 11 starts our Sports Movie Marathon at 7:00pm! Join us every Monday during summer\u00a0reading to watch a classic sports movie! Join us tonight for Rudy, a classic football movie! We\u00a0provide the popcorn; bring your own beverage.<\/p>\n

Join us on Wednesday July 13 for Yummy!-Fun with Food at 6:30pm. Did your parents teach you it\u2019s\u00a0not polite to play with your food? Well it\u2019s okay at the library this summer! Do some cool games and\u00a0crafts, play with food and more! Sure to be a grand ole time!<\/p>\n

On Friday July 15 be sure to join us for Blast From the Past, Classic Game Night at 6:30pm! Come play\u00a0lots of games and we bet there are some classic games that you may have never even heard of! Lots\u00a0of fun and silliness to occur!<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget we are closed Saturdays through Labor Day. We are open Monday, Wednesday and\u00a0Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
