In Hamilton, of course. The famous children\u2019s book\u00a0character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting twenty-two different\u00a0local businesses throughout our community this July. Those who spot him can win\u00a0prizes, including buttons, book coupons and more. From the Colgate Bookstore at 3\u00a0Utica St. to the Hamilton Public Library at 13 Broad St. from Parry\u2019s at 100 Utica\u00a0St. to Oliveri\u2019s Pizzeria at 14 Lebonan St., Waldo figures will be well-hidden in\u00a0local business establishments. Find Waldo Local is a great summer vacation activity, and a wonderful way for residents to support local business and the Shop Local movement.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a \u201cFind Waldo Local in Hamilton!\u201d\u00a0passport with the names of all the participating sites, and <!--more-->get their passport stamped or\u00a0signed for each Waldo they spot. Waldo seekers who get their passports stamped or\u00a0signed at ten or more sites can bring their passports back to the Colgate Bookstore and\u00a0collect prizes. Collecting store stamps or signatures at fifteen or more businesses will\u00a0entitle diligent seekers entry into a grand prize drawing on July 28, from 4-5pm, with the\u00a0top prize being a 6-volume deluxe set of Waldo books. This year, participants can also\u00a0#ColorWaldoAndWin: when they share a completed coloring sheet of Waldo on\u00a0Instagram, they\u2019ll be entered into a drawing to be one of five lucky winners of a deluxe\u00a0prize pack.<\/p>\n<p>On July 28th, from 4pm-5pm, come celebrate at the Colgate Bookstore with a pizza\u00a0party, and one last scavenger hunt!<\/p>\n<p>There is no charge to participate, and the hunt lasts for the entire month of July.
