Tuesday, July 5th<\/span><\/span> from 10:30-11am<\/span><\/span> – Story Time
\n<\/b><\/span>Story Time for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers\u00a0is held in the children\u2019s story room, led by Library Director Hilary Virgil .\u00a0 Story Time for\u00a0preschoolers will be held in the community room and led by guest reader Diana Cassulis. Story Time is held every Tuesday<\/span> from mid-September through July, unless otherwise closed for a holiday or emergency.<\/p>\n

Thursday, July 7th<\/span><\/span> from 3-4pm<\/span><\/span> – Teen Iron Chef Competition (Ages 10+)
\n<\/b>\u201cTweens\u201d and teens ages 10 and up are invited to participate in the Teen Iron Chef event.\u00a0Four teams of four participants will compete to dazzle the judges with a sweet creation.\u00a0For our planning purposes, advance registration is required. Please call or stop by the Library to sign-up.<\/p>\n

Friday, July 8th<\/span><\/span> from 3-4pm<\/span><\/span> – Lego Fun Drop-in & Build (Ages 3+)<\/b>
\n<\/span>Feel free to stop by and build something creative by yourself or with a friend.\u00a0Drop-in, Build, Create and Play!<\/p>\n

Are you creative in the kitchen? Do you work well as part of a team? \u201cTweens\u201d and teens ages\u00a010 and up are invited to participate in the Teen Iron Chef event at the Hamilton Public\u00a0Library! The competition will take place July 7 at 3 p.m. Which team will take home the\u00a0title? Who will race against the clock to master the secret ingredient! This program is part of our \u201cOn your Mark, Get Set..Read\u201d\u00a0summer reading program.<\/p>\n

Hop on over to the Library and check out the new exhibit the Hamilton Historical Commission\u00a0has put together in the local history museum featuring hops! Hops were the first cash crop in the\u00a0region, and Madison County led this production in the 1820&#39;s. With the rise of domestic\u00a0breweries, the area has recently seen renewed popularity in growing and harvesting hops. Feeling\u00a0inspired by the exhibit? Good Nature Brewing&#39;s Tap Room is right across the green on Broad\u00a0Street!<\/p>\n
