Featured graphics of the Mansion House central building (1862) and two additions (1869, 1878) illuminate the visions of their architects for the first time. They also show how the original designs were altered by the client Community and then further changed in response to practical use and construction requirements. New architectural information clarifies how the pragmatic communards ended up with fashionable structures that followed the Italian Villa, Second Empire, and High Victorian Gothic styles. The presentation coincides with the exhibit of newly conserved architectural drawings.

Members: $5 Non-Members: $7 Students (ages 8 & up): $3.

October

Welcome to Silver City: Sherrill Manufacturing’s Liberty Tabletop Tour,October 1st, 10am-12pm

Since 1914, silverware has been made in Sherrill, New York.
