Following the men, the CNY Wonder Brawlers will take on Enchanted Mountain Roller Derby.<\/p>\n<p>Head over to the JFK Arena for what is sure to be an exciting night of roller derby action! Bring your own chair for trackside seating and some extra money for some cool derby merch. Join us for the after party at The Mill, 611 East Dominick Street, Rome.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">ABOUT CENTRAL NEW YORK ROLLER DERBY<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Central New York Roller Derby, Inc., is a women&#8217;s sports league founded in 2007 and based in the greater Utica\/Rome, NY area. As a member of the Women&#8217;s Flat Track Derby Association, a worldwide governing body for women&#8217;s flat track roller derby, CNYRD members have represented the CNY region in sporting events across the northeast United States and Canada. CNYRD has approximately 45 members; skaters make up two travel teams, the CNY All Stars and the Wonder Brawlers, and there are many officials and volunteers associated with our league. The league seeks to foster the empowerment of females of all races, national origins, sexual orientations, ages, religious beliefs, and body types. The league also operates as a not-for-profit organization and strives to support the surrounding community. The WFTDA sets standards for rules, seasons and safety, and determines guidelines for the national and international athletic competitions of member leagues. There are currently 315 WFTDA member leagues and 92 leagues in the WFTDA Apprentice program globally.
