Jones<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On July 26, 2016, State Police initiated a traffic stop on Erie Boulevard West in the City of Syracuse. While interviewing the driver, Vanessa M. Boatman and a passenger, Sharon M. Jones they discovered the vehicle was suspended and observed a strong odor of Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers subsequently discovered a soda can with a false compartment. Inside the can were (9) individually wrapped baggies of crack cocaine (approx. 1.1 grams), (1) large baggie of crack cocaine (approx. 2.1 grams), and (1) baggy containing marihuana (approx. 4.0 grams).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71426\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71426\" style=\"width: 117px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/madisoncountycourier.com\/?attachment_id=71426\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-71426\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-71426\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/madisoncountycourier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Boatman-Vanessa-117x150.jpg?resize=117%2C150\" alt=\"Vanessa M. Boatman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>, age 47 from 812 Bear Street Syracuse, NY was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class \u201cB\u201d felony; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree (Cocaine), a class \u201cD\u201d felony; Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.<\/li>\n<li>Sharon M. Jones, age 43, from 138 Dablon Court in Syracuse, NY was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class \u201cB\u201d felony; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree (Cocaine), a class \u201cD\u201d felony; and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both were transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center where they were held for arraignment in City of Syracuse court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On July 26, 2016, State Police initiated a traffic stop on Erie Boulevard West in the City of Syracuse.
