Perez, Jr., 28, of Cazenovia, was found to be impaired by drugs while traveling with an 8 year old child and her mother. \u00a0He was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany, where he refused to be evaluated by a drug recognition expert. Perez submitted to a blood draw to determine the drug content in his system and was subsequently charged with:<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs with a Child; a Class E Felony<\/li>\n<li>Endangering the Welfare of a Child; a Class A Misdemeanor<\/li>\n<li>Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; a Violation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Perez was arraigned before the City of Albany Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or bond.<\/p>\n<p>The child was turned over to her mother.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On July 28, 2016, at approximately 8:47 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a seatbelt violation. \u00a0The driver of the vehicle, David A.
