Fountain stopped the Malibu and interviewed the driver, Donna M. O&#8217;Neil, 53, of Clinton.<\/p>\n<p>Trooper Fountain observed that O&#8217;Neil had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and sobriety tests indicated that she was intoxicated. O&#8217;Neil was taken into custody for DWI and transported to the SP Oneida barracks, where a breath test determined that\u00a0her blood alcohol content was .14 percent.<\/p>\n<p>O&#8217;Neil was ticketed for DWI, driving with a BAC of .08 percent or greater, failure to keep right and other traffic offenses; she is scheduled to appear in Verona Town Court Aug. 30.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oneida-based state police charged a Clinton woman with DWI following a traffic stop in the Town of Verona Monday evening.
