This is an excellent trip for beginners who seek a moderate pace at which to view the stunning\u00a0scenery of the central New York landscape.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very excited to offer this popular boating excursion,\u201d said Simon Solomon, Friends of Rogers executive\u00a0director. \u201cBeing on the water allows participants an opportunity to see the natural world from a whole different\u00a0perspective.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Boaters must be at least 13 years of age, and anyone under 18 they must be accompanied by an adult. Space is\u00a0limited on this excursion and advance reservations are required by noon on <!--more-->Sept. 9.<\/p>\n<p>Not-yet-member\u00a0registration options are: canoe (space for two boaters) $35, kayak $30, and personal vessel $20. The meet-up\u00a0location for the excursion is the main parking lot at Rogers Center on Route 80 in Sherburne.<\/p>\n<p>To register, call (607) 674-4733 or email env.educator@FriendsofRogers.org.<\/p>\n<p>Rogers Center is operated by Friends of Rogers\u00a0Environmental\u00a0Education Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization that\u00a0offers educational programs for all ages.
