Kim and Sen. Valesky will tour the Madison County Landfill where methane gas from trash and\u00a0power from the sun are harnessed for energy.<\/p>\n

Policy Overview<\/p>\n

Kim Myers believes we can do more to produce energy without damaging the environment. For example:
\n-Kim Myers supports extension and expansion of clean energy incentives, such as legislation extending the PTC (wind production tax credit) and the ITC (solar investment tax credit).<\/p>\n

-Kim Myers supports federal legislation that would establish renewable energy requirements for utilities, with the requirements being that 40% of electricity is produced from clean, renewable energy sources like wind, solar\u00a0and geothermal by 2035.<\/p>\n
