The sophomore lofted the ball into the upper-left corner off a free kick to score her second goal of the season and put her team in the lead.<\/p>\n<p>Oswego&#8217;s defense, led by goalie Melissa Siegfried, held steady for the rest of the game after shutting down the Golden Knights through the opening 60-plus <!--more-->minutes to that point. After managing nine shots in the first half, Clarkson was frustrated by the Laker pressure and only able to manage two shots in the final 45.<\/p>\n<p>Siegfried tallied four saves on the afternoon to earn her third win and second shutout of the season in goal. The Mattituck native now ranks in the top-10 in Oswego State women&#8217;s soccer history for both shutouts and wins.<\/p>\n<p>The senior is currently tied for ninth on the wins list, just one away from a tie for seventh place.
