\nStory Time for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers\u00a0is held in the children\u2019s story room, led by Early Childhood Educator, Hilary Virgil.\u00a0 Story Time for\u00a0preschoolers will be held in the community room and led by Early Childhood Educator, Diane Harmon Needham.\u00a0Story Time is held every Tuesday<\/span><\/span> from mid-September through July, unless otherwise closed for a holiday or emergency.<\/i><\/p>\n

The Hamilton Public Library and Hamilton Village Real Estate are excited to offer the Literary\u00a0Pumpkin display and contest again this year! It\u2019s not too late to participate– you\u2019re invited to\u00a0decorate a small pumpkin to look like your favorite book character!\u00a0Feel free to work alone, with\u00a0your friends, family, or co-workers to decorate a pumpkin. Please do not bring any carved, cut,\u00a0or hollowed pumpkins.\u00a0These \u201cliterary pumpkins\u201d should be brought to the Hamilton Public\u00a0Library during regular Library hours between Monday, Oct. 17, and Saturday, Oct. 22.<\/p>\n

Voting for People\u2019s Choice Awards will take place from Monday, Oct. 24, through\u00a0Saturday, Oct.29. The winners will be announced on Halloween! Pumpkins should then be\u00a0picked up from the Library no later than Saturday, Nov. 5.<\/p>\n

The Hamilton Public Library is pleased to be able to host another AARP Driver Safety Course\u00a0Oct. 19 and 20. Classes run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day and attendance is required\u00a0both days to complete the course. Drivers of all ages with a valid license are encouraged to\u00a0participate. The course fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. Payment will\u00a0be collected the first day of the course and may be in the form of cash or a check made payable\u00a0to AARP. Pre-registration is required as space is limited; please call or stop by the Library to\u00a0sign up. For more information about the content or format of the course, please call the certified\u00a0course instructor, Dixie Glenney, directly at (315) 520-1913.<\/p>\n
