Myers, of 5165 Lee Valley Road, Rome, was in possession of oxycodone pills and dextroamphetamine pills without a prescription.<\/p>\n<p>Myers was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a <!--more-->controlled substance, a class &#8220;A&#8221; misdemeanor; and two counts of possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation.<\/p>\n<p>Myers was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Rome City Court Oct. 25, 2016, at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Oct. 12, 2016, at approximately 8:13 p.m., State Police in Sylvan Beach conducted a traffic stop on Rome-Taberg Road in the City of Rome.
