\u201cBuy Local\u201d is the theme of the New Woodstock Free Library\u2019s Oct. 24 through Nov. 30 program featuring Madison County businesses.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The New Woodstock Free Library in cooperation with the Buy Madison county initiative is promoting local businesses Oct. 24 through Nov. 30 with an exhibit featuring more than two dozen businesses.<\/p>\n

A full list of the businesses is available at www.midyork.org\/newwoodstock<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There is still room for more businesses, according to Buy Local organizer for the library Penny Haggart, pjhaggart@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe library is working with Madison County to showcase businesses large and small who are at the heart of our region\u2019s economy,\u201d Haggart said. \u201cThe library\u2019s exhibit, which runs through the end of November, is an opportunity for businesses to publicize their goods and services and for consumers to connect with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The exhibit of information will be open to the public during all regular library hours. In addition, two receptions are scheduled: Friday, November 4<\/span> from 7 to 8:30 p.m.<\/span> and Saturday, Nov. 5,<\/span> from 10 a.m. to noon<\/span>. Refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n

The library is also supporting Small Business\u00a0Saturday,\u00a0Nov. 26<\/span>. The library is an advocate for the nationwide event which will further emphasize exhibit participants.<\/p>\n

All exhibits and presentations at the library are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

The New Woodstock Free Library is located at 2106 Main Street (Route 13) in the hamlet of New Woodstock.<\/p>\n

The New Woodstock Free Library is open Monday<\/span> through Friday<\/span> 1 to 5 p.m.<\/span>, Monday<\/span> and Wednesday\u00a0<\/span>evenings 7 to 9 p.m.<\/span> and Saturdays from 10 until 1.
