Shop for the library this holiday season during our Giving Tree Fundraiser that begins on Tuesday,\u00a0Nov. 1, and runs until Saturday, Jan. 14! We have several items the library needs! It\u2019s EASY!<\/p>\n

Grab a Christmas tag off our giving tree of something you would like to donate to the library. Buy it,\u00a0donate it, whatever it says and bring the tag and the item in as soon as you can! We would like all donations turned in by Jan. 31, 2017.<\/p>\n

This Thursday, Nov. 3, join us for Essential Oils at 6:30 p.m. Join Robin Suarez as she helps us to\u00a0better our lives naturally. Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in flowers, seeds, bark, roots and other parts of plants. They are powerfully fragrant. They have been used throughout\u00a0history for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits.<\/p>\n

We are having our family movie night\u00a0Friday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. We provide the popcorn; you bring your own beverage! We are showing the 2016 version of Ghostbusters! If you have seen\u00a0the first one from the 1980\u2019s, come compare the two movies! This is rated PG-13 so if you are under\u00a013, make sure you bring a parent or guardian!<\/p>\n

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour is in full swing! Bring your toddler or preschool child in Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. Help us have fun with \u201cVroom, Vroom-GO\u201d!\u00a0 Stories, finger plays,\u00a0a craft and more! If you cannot make that day, please join us Nov. 15 for stories about \u201cPop,\u00a0pop-POPCORN!\u201d<\/p>\n

Be sure to join us Monday, Nov. 7, for the \u201cLanding the Job\u201d presentation at 3 p.m.! Join\u00a0BEAM as they present how to land the job, discuss interviewing techniques, do\u2019s and don\u2019ts of\u00a0interviewing, obtaining that job, what to expect to be taken out of your paycheck, etc.<\/p>\n

We will end our fall History series Friday, Nov. 18, with \u201cFrom Bingley to Busti\u201d at 6:30 p.m.\u00a0Come and learn the story of a Madison County Mill which existed for close to 160 years before being\u00a0torn down. Here how remnants from the mill are now part of a thriving mill in western NY, and the\u00a0miller\u2019s home is a residence in another town.<\/p>\n

The Library Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, Nov. 17, at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome\u00a0to attend.<\/p>\n

We will be closed Friday, Nov. 11, to celebrate Veteran\u2019s Day. We are open Monday,\u00a0Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to\u00a04 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
