\"letters<\/a>To the Editor:<\/em><\/p>\n

The culprits change, but the lies keep coming. This time, the culprits are special interests and Washington-based political action committees dedicated to restoring Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. They are\u00a0spending millions of dollars trying to defeat conservative Claudia Tenney for Congress by conducting a smear\u00a0campaign over the airwaves containing vicious, nasty false attacks.<\/p>\n

However, the facts are clear. Claudia Tenney has a 96 percent attendance record in the State Assembly and one\u00a0of the best conservative voting records. The few live votes that Claudia missed were during her mother\u2019s illness, death, and funeral and when her son graduated from the United State Naval Academy. We are proud to\u00a0say that in casting tens of thousands of votes, Claudia Tenney proved to be one of the state\u2019s leading\u00a0conservatives. In fact, she earned the 2011 \u201cConservative of the Year\u201d award and has been consistently ranked as one of the state\u2019s top conservative legislators. Throughout her tenure, Claudia has relentlessly fought\u00a0reckless spending, tax increases, and burdensome regulations.<\/p>\n

So, why are liberal special interests blatantly distorting her record and spending so much money trying to defeat\u00a0Claudia Tenney?<\/p>\n

It is because Claudia Tenney presents a threat to the political insiders and entrenched established political order\u00a0in Washington, D.C. They know she will be a powerful voice for reform in Washington, just like she was in\u00a0Albany. She will expose corruption, regardless of party, just as she did when she demanded the resignation of\u00a0former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Claudia has repeatedly demonstrated that she will fight for our values. For example, she was an\u00a0outspoken voice and leader against the unconstitutional NY SAFE Act gun control legislation in 2013.<\/p>\n

Congress needs more unwavering Second Amendment defenders like Claudia.\u00a0 She is a staunch defender of\u00a0innocent lives and traditional values.<\/p>\n

It is crystal clear that Claudia\u2019s opponents, together with special interests and Washington-based political\u00a0cronies, will do and say anything to stop her from getting elected to Congress. During the final days of this\u00a0election cycle, the Conservative Party will aggressively combat the lies and smear campaign being launched\u00a0against Claudia\u2019s stellar record. It is vitally important to the state and nation that individuals like Claudia\u00a0Tenney serve in Congress. Her courage, tenacity, knowledge, and dedication to conservative principles and the\u00a0Constitution are unmatched.<\/p>\n

The voters of New York\u2019s 22nd Congressional District are fortunate to have a fighter like Claudia on the ballot\u00a0this November. This is why we endorse and support Claudia Tenney for Congress and encourage you to vote\u00a0for her Nov. 8.<\/p>\n
